Open Access Policy

1. Open Access Statement

Science and Technology of Kazakhstan is a fully open-access journal. All articles are freely available to readers immediately upon publication without subscription, registration, or login requirements. The journal strongly supports the principle of free, global, and unrestricted dissemination of scientific knowledge to foster academic exchange and technological innovation.

2. Article Processing Charges (APC)

To cover editorial management, peer review administration, production, typesetting, and online hosting costs, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 20 000 KZT per accepted article. Payment of the APC is required only after the manuscript has successfully passed the rigorous peer review process and has been formally accepted for publication.

3. Licensing

All published articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) License.

This license allows others to copy, redistribute, adapt, and build upon the work, including for commercial purposes, provided that:

• appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and Science and Technology of Kazakhstan;
• a link to the license is provided;
• any changes made are clearly indicated.

4. Author Rights

Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. Authors may use their published articles for future research, academic presentations, teaching, or deposit them in institutional and personal repositories, provided that the original journal publication in Science and Technology of Kazakhstan is properly cited.

5. Third-Party Materials

If an article contains third-party materials (such as figures, tables, or images) not covered by the Creative Commons license, authors are solely responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions from the respective copyright holders and clearly indicating the licensing status of such materials within the article.
